Misinformation Ground Rounds

The Misinformation Grand Rounds is an monthly or bimonthly event hosted by the School of Public Health Student Government Association (PH SGA) that brings together students, faculty, and public health professionals from a range of interdisciplinary backgrounds to examine the impact of misinformation on health outcomes and public trust. Through expert-led discussions, case studies, and interactive Q&A sessions, this event explores how false or misleading information spreads and looks at the strategies public health practitioners can use to address it. Topics include climate misinformation, fluoride misinformation, health communication, the influence of social media, and the ethical challenges of confronting misinformation in real time. Join us to engage in meaningful dialogue, sharpen your critical thinking skills, and become a stronger advocate for evidence-based public health. Past Misinformation Ground Rounds:
