The Tech & AI Research Interest Group focuses on utilizing modern technology to improve health and wellbeing at both the individual and population levels. On the technology side, our researchers actively use mobile health applications, SMS programs, wearable monitors, and the Internet of Things (IoT) to collect high-frequency data and deploy community-based behavioral interventions. Along with these digital tools, our artificial intelligence focus applies advanced machine learning and deep learning techniques to intelligently process this vast amount of clinical and genetic information. We combine these domains to help researchers across the institution transform raw digital data into proactive, predictive public health solutions.
