The Master of Public Health (MPH) program in Environmental Health, Climate and Sustainability (EHCS) is a 46-credit hour degree program designed to provide graduates skills to evaluate the impact of climate and environmental policies and practices on public health, social justice, and economic opportunity; propose sustainable solutions and strategies for climate adaptation and mitigation that promote environmental stewardship and community resilience; and advocate for more equitable policies and practices on behalf of disadvantaged and underserved communities. Graduates within our programs have gone on to work in government, industry, consulting, community-based organizations, universities, think tanks, and professional associations.

- Identify and assess health impacts of environmental hazards.
- Appraise and communicate the science on climate change and sustainable solutions.
- Develop and evaluate policies to equitably address hazards and risks.
- Analyze and interpret data related to hazards, risks and impacts.
- Facilitate resilience and adaptation through geospatial planning to address vulnerabilities and risks.
