Biography:

Dr. Thomas serves as Medical Director of the Medical Center of Louisiana, and also directs the Morial Asthma, Allergy and Respiratory Disease Center. His academic interests include disease management outcomes research, as well as student education. He currently has grant funding to evaluate the effect of educational and medical interventions on patient outcomes in asthma. The Morial Asthma Center has been recognized by the American Lung Association as a Regional Asthma Clinical Research Center. Dr. Thomas is a member of the Best Doctors in America, and has been recognized by the medical students and house staff as one of the medical schools best teachers.
