Introduction

The mission of the program in Health Policy and Systems Management at LSUHSC School of Public health is to improve the health care system in Louisiana and in the nation through programs in education, research and service.

The MPH program in Health Systems Management prepares students for leadership roles in health care organizations. Students will be involved in multiple projects, which will provide experience in improving processes in existing healthcare organizations. Graduates will be capable of leading improvement at all levels of the healthcare system.
