Degrees Offered, Concentrations, and Course Requirements

The Health Policy and Systems Management program offers an MPH degree concentrating in Health Systems Management. All students are required to take foundation courses in behavioral health sciences, biologic basis of health, biostatistics, environmental health sciences, epidemiology, ethics and health systems management.

In additional to the required health systems management curriculum, students may take elective courses that focus on quality and cost effectiveness in the health care delivery systems and on the information systems that support them. Required and elective advanced HPSM courses, fieldwork and a capstone complete the 45- credit hour curriculum.
